Terms of Service & Risk Disclosure
Last updated: February 2026
Preamble and Acceptance of Terms
These Master Terms of Service and Risk Disclosure ("Terms," "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and CoinBob, governing your access to and use of the CoinBob platform, including all associated websites, applications, APIs, algorithms, and content (collectively, the "Platform").
You represent and warrant that:
(a) You are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater;
(b) You have the legal capacity and authority to enter into this Agreement;
(c) Your use of the Platform does not violate any applicable law, regulation, or order in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to securities laws, anti-money laundering statutes, and cryptocurrency regulations;
(d) You are not located in, nor a citizen or resident of, any jurisdiction in which access to or use of cryptocurrency analysis tools is prohibited or restricted by law.
Section 1 — Definitions
For the purposes of this Agreement, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed below:
1.1 "Platform" means the CoinBob web application, mobile application, and all associated services, tools, algorithms, computational engines, and interfaces provided by CoinBob.
1.2 "User" means any individual or entity that creates an account on, accesses, or uses the Platform.
1.3 "Subscription" means a paid access tier ("Pro," or any other designated paid tier) that grants the User access to enhanced computational features, additional indicators, or expanded analytical capabilities beyond those available in the free tier.
1.4 "Content" means all data, analysis outputs, mathematical indicators, charts, visualizations, strategy signals, computational results, and any other information generated by or displayed through the Platform.
1.5 "Signals" means any buy, sell, hold, or neutral indicators, alerts, or computational outputs generated by the Platform's algorithmic engines based on mathematical and statistical analysis of market data.
1.6 "Third-Party Services" means external services, APIs, payment processors, data providers, and exchanges (including but not limited to Binance, Stripe, and cryptocurrency payment processors) that the Platform integrates with or relies upon but does not own or control.
1.7 "API Keys" means any application programming interface credentials, tokens, or authentication keys that a User may configure within the Platform to connect to Third-Party Services.
Section 2 — Account Responsibility and Security
2.1 Account Registration. To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You agree to update your account information promptly to maintain its accuracy.
2.2 Sole Responsibility for Credentials. You are solely and entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials, including but not limited to your password, email address, two-factor authentication devices, and any API Keys configured within the Platform. CoinBob does not store, manage, or have access to your exchange API keys in plaintext, and bears no responsibility for their safekeeping.
2.3 Unauthorized Access. You accept full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you. CoinBob shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from unauthorized access to your account, including but not limited to access resulting from:
(a) Compromised, weak, reused, or shared passwords;
(b) Phishing attacks, social engineering, or malware on your devices;
(c) Unauthorized sharing of your account credentials with third parties;
(d) Compromised API Keys or exchange account credentials;
(e) Failure to enable available security features such as two-factor authentication.
2.4 Account Sharing Prohibited. Each account is for a single User only. You may not share, transfer, sell, or sublicense your account or credentials to any other person or entity. CoinBob reserves the right to terminate accounts suspected of being shared without notice or refund.
2.5 Notification of Breach. You agree to notify CoinBob immediately upon becoming aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Such notification does not create any obligation or liability on the part of CoinBob.
Section 3 — Subscription and Payment Policy
3.1 Subscription Tiers. The Platform may offer free and paid Subscription tiers. Paid tiers grant access to additional computational tools, advanced indicators, expanded strategy parameters, and other enhanced features as described on the Platform at the time of purchase.
3.3 Pricing and Billing. Subscription fees are as stated on the Platform at the time of purchase. CoinBob reserves the right to modify pricing at any time. Price changes will apply to the next billing cycle following notice of the change and will not apply retroactively to the current billing period.
3.4 Auto-Renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, as selected) unless cancelled by the User prior to the renewal date. You authorize CoinBob and its payment processors to charge the applicable renewal fee to your designated payment method.
(a) Dissatisfaction with Platform features, outputs, or performance;
(b) Failure to cancel before an auto-renewal billing date;
(c) Trading losses incurred while using the Platform;
(d) Service interruptions, downtime, or API outages (see Section 6);
(e) Account termination for violation of these Terms (see Section 9);
(f) Changes to Platform features, algorithms, or available strategies.
Users in jurisdictions where mandatory refund rights apply (e.g., EU cooling-off period under Directive 2011/83/EU) acknowledge that by accessing the digital service immediately upon subscription, they may waive applicable withdrawal rights to the extent permitted by law.
3.6 Third-Party Payment Processing. All payment transactions are processed through third-party payment processors, including but not limited to Stripe and cryptocurrency payment gateways. CoinBob does not directly process, store, or handle your payment card information or cryptocurrency wallet private keys. CoinBob is not liable for:
(a) Payment processing failures, delays, or errors by third-party processors;
(b) Unauthorized charges resulting from compromised payment credentials;
(c) Currency conversion fees, network fees, gas fees, or other transaction costs imposed by payment processors or blockchain networks;
(d) Disputes between you and any payment processor.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting CoinBob may result in immediate account termination.
Section 4 — Nature of Service: Mathematical Information Only
4.1 Computational Tools, Not Financial Advice. The Platform provides access to mathematical, statistical, and computational analysis tools that process publicly available market data. All Content, Signals, indicators, strategy outputs, backtesting results, and analytical information generated by the Platform are the product of algorithmic computation and mathematical formulas applied to historical and real-time market data.
4.3 Paid Status Does Not Create an Advisory Relationship. The existence of a paid Subscription does not create, imply, or establish any fiduciary duty, advisory relationship, broker-client relationship, or any other professional obligation between CoinBob and the User. You are paying for access to advanced computational tools and mathematical processing capabilities — not for financial tips, recommendations, or personalized investment guidance.
4.4 No Personalized Recommendations. The Platform does not consider your individual financial situation, investment objectives, risk tolerance, tax status, or personal circumstances. All outputs are generated uniformly based on mathematical parameters and market data, without regard to any individual User's specific needs.
4.5 Independent Decision-Making. You acknowledge and agree that:
(a) All trading and investment decisions are made solely by you, at your own discretion and risk;
(b) You will not rely on Platform outputs as the sole or primary basis for any financial decision;
(c) You will conduct your own independent research and due diligence before making any trading or investment decision;
(d) You will consult with a qualified, licensed financial professional before making significant financial decisions;
(e) CoinBob bears no responsibility whatsoever for the financial outcomes of decisions you make, regardless of whether those decisions were informed by Platform outputs.
4.6 Strategy and Signal Disclaimer. The strategies, signals, and indicators available on the Platform are mathematical models based on technical analysis methodologies. They are presented as educational and informational tools. No strategy, signal, or indicator — whether free or paid — should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or trade any cryptocurrency or financial instrument.
Section 5 — Risk Disclosure
5.2 Specific Risks. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you acknowledge the following risks:
(a) Market Volatility: Cryptocurrency prices may experience rapid, severe, and unpredictable price swings due to market forces, regulatory actions, technological failures, or other factors beyond anyone's control;
(b) Leveraged Trading: If you engage in leveraged or margin trading based on Platform outputs, you may lose more than your initial investment. CoinBob does not provide leverage and is not responsible for leveraged positions opened on third-party exchanges;
(c) Total Loss of Capital: It is possible to lose 100% of your invested capital when trading cryptocurrencies. You should never invest more than you can afford to lose entirely;
(d) Regulatory Risk: Cryptocurrency regulations vary by jurisdiction and are subject to change without notice. Regulatory actions may adversely affect the value of your holdings or your ability to trade;
(e) Technology Risk: Blockchain networks, exchanges, and related infrastructure may experience failures, hacks, congestion, or other disruptions;
(f) Liquidity Risk: Certain cryptocurrencies may have insufficient market liquidity, resulting in an inability to execute trades at desired prices;
(g) Backtesting Limitations: Backtesting results displayed on the Platform are based on historical data and simulated conditions. They do not account for slippage, liquidity constraints, or market conditions that may differ materially from historical patterns. Backtesting results are not a guarantee or prediction of future performance.
5.3 Acknowledgment. By using the Platform, you represent that you understand the risks described in this Section, that you have sufficient knowledge and experience to evaluate the merits and risks of cryptocurrency trading, and that you accept the possibility of total loss of capital.
Section 6 — Service Availability and API Risks
6.1 No Uptime Guarantee. The Platform is provided on an "as available" basis. CoinBob does not guarantee uninterrupted, continuous, timely, secure, or error-free operation of the Platform. The Platform may be subject to:
(a) Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance windows;
(b) Server downtime, hardware failures, or software errors;
(c) Distributed denial-of-service attacks or other security incidents;
(d) Force majeure events including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, government action, or infrastructure failures.
6.2 Third-Party API Dependency. The Platform relies on data from Third-Party Services, including but not limited to Binance and other cryptocurrency exchanges, for real-time and historical market data. CoinBob is not liable for:
(a) API outages, rate limiting, deprecation, or discontinuation by third-party data providers;
(b) Inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or erroneous data received from Third-Party Services;
(c) Changes to third-party API terms of service, pricing, or data availability;
(d) Any losses arising from the unavailability or malfunction of third-party data feeds.
6.4 Data Freshness. While CoinBob endeavors to display current market data, all displayed prices, volumes, and indicators are inherently delayed to some degree. You should verify critical market data directly with your exchange before executing trades.
Section 7 — Intellectual Property
7.1 Ownership. All intellectual property rights in and to the Platform, including but not limited to its source code, algorithms, strategies, computational engines, user interface designs, trademarks, trade names, and documentation, are and shall remain the exclusive property of CoinBob and its licensors.
7.2 Limited License. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable Subscription fees, CoinBob grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform solely for your personal, non-commercial analytical purposes.
7.3 Restrictions. You may not:
(a) Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works based on the Platform or its Content;
(b) Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any Platform algorithms or computational engines;
(c) Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Platform or extract data from it;
(d) Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or markings on the Platform;
(e) Use the Platform to build a competing product or service;
(f) Redistribute, republish, or resell Platform outputs, Signals, or analytical Content to third parties.
Section 8 — Limitation of Liability
8.3 Exclusion of Damages. In no event shall CoinBob, its directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, or licensors be liable for any:
(a) Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages;
(b) Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings;
(c) Trading losses, investment losses, or loss of capital, regardless of whether such losses arise from the use of or inability to use the Platform;
(d) Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account;
(e) Damages arising from reliance on any Content, Signal, or output provided by the Platform;
(f) Damages resulting from service interruptions, API outages, data inaccuracies, or signal delays;
Whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not CoinBob has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8.4 Essential Purpose. You acknowledge that the limitations and exclusions in this Section reflect a reasonable and fair allocation of risk between you and CoinBob and are an essential basis of the bargain between the parties. CoinBob would not provide the Platform without these limitations.
Section 9 — Termination of Service
9.1 Termination by CoinBob. CoinBob reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, for any reason or for no reason, with or without prior notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to:
(a) Violation of these Terms or any applicable law;
(b) Suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity;
(c) Account sharing or unauthorized redistribution of Platform Content;
(d) Abusive behavior toward CoinBob staff or other Users;
(e) Initiation of a chargeback or payment dispute without prior contact with CoinBob;
(f) Any other reason CoinBob deems necessary to protect the Platform, its Users, or its business interests.
9.2 Effect of Termination. Upon termination:
(a) Your right to access and use the Platform ceases immediately;
(b) No refund shall be issued for any remaining Subscription period;
(c) CoinBob may delete your account data in accordance with its privacy policy;
(d) Sections 4, 5, 7, 8, 9.2, 10, and 12 shall survive termination.
9.3 Cancellation by User. You may cancel your Subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of a billing period.
Section 10 — Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
10.1 Governing Law. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which CoinBob operates, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
10.2 Arbitration. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration body. The language of arbitration shall be English. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
10.4 Injunctive Relief. Notwithstanding the foregoing, CoinBob may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of CoinBob's intellectual property rights or confidential information.
Section 11 — Modifications to Terms
11.1 Right to Modify. CoinBob reserves the right to modify, amend, or replace these Terms at any time in its sole discretion. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your account or through a prominent notice on the Platform.
11.2 Acceptance of Changes. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Platform and cancel your Subscription.
Section 12 — General Provisions
12.1 Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, shall be severed from this Agreement. The invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
12.2 Entire Agreement. This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and any supplemental terms posted on the Platform, constitutes the entire agreement between you and CoinBob with respect to your use of the Platform and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements, whether oral or written.
12.3 Waiver. The failure of CoinBob to enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of this Agreement will be effective only if in writing and signed by CoinBob.
12.4 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer this Agreement or any rights or obligations hereunder without CoinBob's prior written consent. CoinBob may assign this Agreement without restriction.
12.5 Force Majeure. CoinBob shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this Agreement due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, riots, government actions, exchange outages, internet disruptions, or power failures.
12.6 Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of this Agreement.
